Brian Kim, President
Award-Winning Director & Producer
Brian has excelled in media and broadcast production for over 18 years, distinguishing himself as a director, director of photography, and editor. His extensive portfolio covers a wide range of TV news and documentaries on history, science, crime, nature, entertainment, and politics as well as corporate branding and marketing videos for global clients. Brian has produced diverse programming for international news media, including SBS TV, MBC TV, JTBC TV, tvN, NHK TV, and TV Asahi. Currently, he is a producer and editor for VOA’s documentary series, which won the 2024 silver prize and the 2023 gold prize for Best Nonfiction at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. Brian resides in New Jersey with his wife and children, balancing his work with travels to the far-flung corners of the world.
Sabina Lee
Producer
Sabina brings broad areas of expertise in global communications, media, and journalism. Her work spans diverse languages and subjects, including arts and culture, social justice, politics, health, and technology-—exploring the complexities of the human experience in a rapidly changing world. She has worked with major U.S. media such as PBS, CNN, ABC, and NBC, as well as international outlets such as KBS, JTBC, Fuji TV, and France 24. She also served as a senior communications executive for the Pulitzer Prizes and the Ivy League schools overseeing public affairs. Sabina attended the graduate school of International Policy and Development at the Middlebury Institute in Monterey, California, following her graduation from the Pratt Institute. Based in New York City, she has lived and worked across the United States, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Australia.
Meggie Miao
Producer
Meggie is a creative and dependable Emmy-winning television and video producer with extensive production experience at a weekly national television show. At CBS News Sunday Morning, she produced diverse stories on arts, culture, and human interests, interviewing notable figures such as Ai Weiwei, Yayoi Kusama, Ina Garten, and Elie Wiesel. As an executive producer at Sotheby's, Meggie oversaw several documentaries and digital shorts, including one of the company's largest auctions. Most recently, she was the senior producer for a Mandarin/English digital platform for Voice of America, managing weekly videos and trending stories for a young, global audience. Prior to CBS, Meggie wrote, directed, and produced a feature-length documentary on renowned Chinese journalist Liu Binyan, distributed by the Cinema Guild. Meggie holds a BA from Swarthmore College and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
Editor
David "Siwon" is a filmmaker specializing in short films and documentaries. He has served as an editor and assistant producer for VOA's "52 Documentary" series, which highlights diverse cultures in the United States. As a field crew member and interpreter, David has contributed to various South Korean film and broadcast projects, as well as K-Pop concert productions and tours for artists such as Stray Kids, TWICE, IU, and BLACKPINK. Born in Seoul, South Korea, David graduated from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking. He lives in New Jersey and continues to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
